对故障结点的完全支持依赖于1/0模块的能力。一些90-30系列模块不支持点故障结点。这些模块的点故障结点保持off状态,除非发生丢失模块故障,这种情况下RX3i CPU将这个丢失的模块的所有相关故障结点置位。使用报警结点高报警结点(-[HA]-)和低报警结点(H[LA]-)代表模拟量输入模块比较器功能的状态。要使用报警结点,必须先将CPU硬件配置的存储器键内将点故障功能使能。下面的逻辑实例同时使用了高报警和低报警结点。
